Who we are
CheckRaise (checkraise.ai) is a Texas Hold'em skill-training application. Questions about this policy or your data: [email protected].
What we collect
- Account information: your email address (used to sign you in) and the display name you choose.
- Gameplay data: your training sessions, decisions, skill ratings, streaks, and coaching notes โ this is the product working as intended.
- Usage analytics: anonymized events about how the app is used (pages visited, sessions completed, device type) to improve the product.
- Advertising data: our ad partners (such as Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. See "Advertising" below.
We do not collect payment information (the app is currently free), real-money gambling activity, or precise location.
How we use it
To operate the app (sign-in, saving your progress across devices), to personalize your coaching, to understand and improve how the product is used, and to support the free service with advertising.
Where it lives
Account and gameplay data are stored with Supabase (our database provider). Session summaries are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate your coaching feedback. Analytics are processed by our analytics provider. We don't sell your personal information.
Advertising
We use third-party advertising (including Google AdSense) to keep CheckRaise free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
Cookies
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your progress. Analytics and advertising partners set their own cookies as described above.
Your choices
- You can request a copy or deletion of your account data any time by emailing [email protected].
- You can sign out and stop using the service at any time.
Children
CheckRaise is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll update this page when the policy changes and revise the effective date above.
